that once they establish their neofeudal paradise, we will have hundreds of thousands of confederates crowding across the border for jobs, just as we do now from Mexico.

The Neoconfederacy would be full to the gills of people too proud and holier-than-thou to ever leave even if their twenty children were all dying of starvation on the dirt floor of their dung-walled hovel.  They would see themselves as the salt of the earth living His Word in Reel Murka and nothing would ever break them of that.  They'd rage impotently against the shining liberal utopia across the border that they would need no convincing is the reason they suffer.  Their own brutal and kleptocratic leaders would be of their tribe and therefore blameless or worse, they'd be seen as heroes who not only thrive but scream defiance against the leftists.

Besides, we'd pull so far ahead of them so quickly that I doubt any of them could get a job in our country even if they wanted to come.  What opportunities could there be in our country for a person with no education, stunted and brain-damaged from malnutrition and pollution, possessed of Bronze Age religion and "family values" that really would be illegal, pissy tribal mentality, etc.?

To those who say the New Deal didn't work: WWII was also government spending
