    I know what you mean when you mentioned:

    There is the delusion that casinos should provide employment for tribal members
    My father, a non-indian in every sense, was hired to do IT work from a few casinos in Idaho. He was the subject of several hateful newspaper columns, dirty looks and letters to the casino. They pretty much stated that since my father is white, he shouldn't be paid, he should be fired, and he shouldn't be allowed on the reservation, let alone in the casino. they accused him of forgery, fraud, theft and racism. My father was not, and is not, guilty of any of these things, and he is able to shrug the accusations off, but they do deter him from taking similar clients in the future.
