    Azazello, Otteray Scribe when the RAF fired the 20mm, it caused the repeater compass in the cockpit to go haywire! They were never able to sort this, and the LAST thing you want if you are making low-level sorties over France is a compass that is useless!

    There is a propaganda film telling cinema audiences how good the Aircobra is, but they were rapidly withdrawn.

    The video portion comes after the first set of slides. You can see the thinner 20mm barrel on these aircraft. The codes 'UF' apply to the famous No. 601 (Couty of London) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force
