Could you do arm warmers, (wrist to mid-bicep) and how much (approximately) would a set cost?  I could use some for cycling, and none of the places that make wool ones make them in any size other than skinny racer dude (which I am not).

It would be 18-20" long, and if you're using it for cycling, you'd want it warm, right? So I would suggest either single crochet if you want to economize, or half-double crochet for more warmth.

Of course you'd have to give the exact length and diameter (of bicep and wrist) you'd want (with a metal measuring tape, for preference, they don't shrink or stretch much, unless you have a brand new frabric or plastic one), and left me know if you want it to expand to you hand, or just cover your gloves a bit (say, to the base of your thumb.

I'd use the Fingerless Gloves as a model without the openings (unless you wanted them), which are single crochet. If you go with those, I'd saw $60. Double crochet, which uses a good bit more wool, but is much warmer, $75. Shipping would be $5 and include insurance (always).
