    Couldn't agree more.

    Since when is someone's right to own a gun----- more important than my right not to get shot and killed in a public place?

    Like Congress on the Corner----or while walking home----or while cutting across campus---or while going to school---or while standing in line for a film----or while listening to music (loud or otherwise)?

    Why is gun ownership----gun availability------and gun purchase----- more important than my right to continue breathing?

    Sad commentary----- for the most powerful country in the world------- that they cannot guarantee the safety of their citizens in public places.

    And they can't.

    They really can't.

    And that is being proven -----on pretty much a weekly basis in this country.

    With gun laws this lax----and a citizenry this out---of---control---obviously ------something needs to be done.
