    Still think there might an underlying threat directed at Boehner in the current wing-nut posturing and blithering.

      You may be on to something.  The Republican caucus for the next Congress will be slightly smaller and slightly more rightwing-wacko. A revolt by the wackos could see Boehner deposed as speaker.  Maybe Pete Sessions or Lamar Smith want the job. We can only hope this happens, as either of them would make Newt Gingrich as speaker look like a rock star. Two years of a wacko as speaker could lead to a midterm shock for the Repugs in 2014.
