Looking at the PPP cross tabs, his favorable / unfavorable numbers are 17 / 18, so -1, with 65% having not sure an the opinion.  Definitely room to grow!

Also, because these numbers never fail to shock me even though I've lived here most of my life, here's how Georgians described themselves:

Q26 Would you describe yourself as very liberal,
    somewhat liberal, moderate, somewhat
    conservative, or very conservative?
    Very liberal ...................................................... 11%
    Somewhat liberal ............................................ 12%
    Moderate......................................................... 25%
    Somewhat conservative.................................. 29%
    Very conservative ........................................... 23%

Just wanted to point out, that means if everyone in Georgia that describes themselves as a moderate, somewhat liberal, or very liberal all vote for the same person, that person still wouldn't get 50% of the vote (just short at 48%)!

Demographics will help, but Georgia also needs a gigantic messaging push to start showing how very conservatives are ruining the state, and how liberal / progressive ideas can help.  I haven't seen any statewide Dems do that in favor (Ol' Roy, when he last ran for governor, refused to even identify with the national Democratic party, and stated he would prefer to run as a Whig).
