  •  college radio is a mixed bag, but they are (4+ / 0-)

    generally limited to about a thousand watts which means they can be heard for a 12 block radius.

      in my living room can be heard for five blocks!

      1000W would cover a decent sized city with the right antenna.

      Maybe you meant 10W. That would cover a college campus and allow for signal loss through walls :)

      I hope that the quality of debate will improve,
      but I fear we will remain Democrats.
