    I don't know if the examples you highlighted are common at the Court, but one can only hope this is the case.  Lord knows that Ginsburg was becoming rather plaintive in her wish not to be the only female, it has certainly has been a reason why she hasn't retired yet...  Am very glad that her burden is now being shared by strong and younger shoulders.  

    A civilized humanity, like reality, has a liberal bias.

      Reading the transcripts, you really do get a sense of where each Justice is.

      Sotomayor doesn't play around, and suffers no fools at the lectern.

      Kagan is really catching her stride, as well.

        as a female lawyer for many years, starting when there were just two of us in the county

        it's been my experience that the women are better lawyers, in that they work harder and are more client-justice oriented than aspiring to "success" in terms of power/money

        not offering any insight into the legal issues on which the justices spoke, but delighting in their provocative leading questions to the bad guys
