press to hang Obama with every cut in entitlements and spending he was offering to get them to move on revenue. Then during theelection, they had their advocates like Bob Woodward telling all kinds of tales about Obama selling out Liberals and Progressives in hopes of suppressing their votes. Notice how all these tales were followed by stories of how unenthusiastic Obama's base was. Well, when Boehner came back to Obama unable to sell the deal but with ammo to use against him in the election, Obama turned a negative into a positive by luring them into sequestration. He learned a valuable lesson and now four years of intransigence by the GOP is finally coming home to roost. I have no doubt Obama will make the GOP name it and own it. They may have won seniors by lying about their intentions toward Medicare and Social Security, but if they want cuts in entitlements, Obama will force them to say it loud and proud. "cuz if they do, they will never fool seniors again.  My bet is the GOP is too chicken to go that route and will also end up agreeing only to raising the SS cap and some Medicare and Medicaid trimming on the provider side.
