  •  His Parole Officer may be in on it. (14+ / 0-)

I had an electrician who worked for me in South Carolina who was forced to do electrical work for his little city in South Carolina for free whenever they called him.  He had been on parole for 5 years. Every time he was supposed to finish his parole the parole officer would "violate "  him on some pretext.  He had to pay his parole officer 200/m plus pay for mandated classes and get permission to cross county lines to work.

I gave him the number of the Southern Poverty Law Center who advised him they would sue on his behalf once he was off parole.(I moved away, so I don't know it that ever happened.

I know only a lilttle about a similar situation in Tennessee where one brother was a judge and the other a bail bondsman, and the third a parole officer. The judge was finally removed after some years because many people never seemed to be able to complete parole.  Parole had turned into an opportunity to keep people in  indefinite servitude.

To Goldman Sachs in according to their desires, From us in accordance with the IRS.
