    His account of the restoration was quite riveting, I thought.

    I used to watch some of the work that The Air Museum did on some of its WW II planes back in the stone ages (1960s U.S. warbird restoration scene). I have a series of photos I took of their Mitsubishi J2M "Jack". The work was done right out in the public part of the museum in those days. They also had a pretty exotic junkyard with parts of some pretty rare aircraft. I remember a Ryan FR "Fireball" fuselage, or perhaps the whole aircraft there.

    So I had a little bit of an idea of what Snadden's work must have been like.

    Moderation in most things.
