  •  It has long been a belief of mine that the (3+ / 0-)

    neuropsychology behind autism, things like ADHD/ADD, other disorders (anxiety/panc) and even schizophrenia have something to do with early inabilities (perhaps even in-utero) to handle/manage certain fears and control (integrate) certain reflexes...

    I don't think it's as simple as recognizing the fears since they're coded so deeply that they manifest themselves in neurochemistry (which it malleable)

    But I think there are some aspects of older and supposedly  'debunked' aspects of psychological theory that may be worth revisiting in new contexts.  

    I'm planning on doing a post on this at some point--but not yet.
