    oh HELL yes.

I hate change, and it takes me forever to deal with it. I am almost always scared that something will go wrong - usually things I cannot possibly prepare for - and new situations are hell for me. I don't like to travel or visit new places - there are just too many things that I can't predict and can't deal with if they happen unexpectedly. I need the old, tried and true, familiar pathways. I rarely see or go to movies unless I can read a full plot synopsis beforehand, with spoilers, so I don't get surprised. I read the last thirty pages of a book first. Etc.

My partner loves new things and would love nothing more than to go on a "mystery trip." Unfortunately, that's a great way to send me into a total tailspin.
