    From what I've seen of the studies, it appears that nonreciprocal domestic violence in the US is committed with approximate gender parity. However, men are much less likely to recognize acts of domestic violence committed against them as such, and are even less likely to report said acts.

    If I recall correctly, there is also something of a disparity between men and women in terms of injury - women are more likely to be injured than men - and use of weapons, where women are more likely to arm themselves.
