  •  Oh sure. I don't doubt it esp if the chemicals (5+ / 0-)

in question were organo-chlorines or organo-phosphates. They do terrible things to your nervous system via neurotransmitters.

I wrote a double book report on R. Carson's Silent Spring and A Spring Without Bees. Sadly I wrote this just before the big election night so most people were more interested in reading what was going on with exit polls and early voting and voter suppression [and not that I blame them one bit].

There are a lot of veterans who were never rated, even though they were sickened by Project Blue Water, which was part of the agent orange junk. But because they were women during the Vietnam era and not in combat, they could not get benefits for all the illnesses they developed after exposure. Many of the usual, Type II Diabetes, Neuralgia, FM, and I am sure eventually they will have other health effects and conditions as well as their offspring if they were able to conceive after all that.

More people are reporting exposures to Agent Orange and worse, and they were used as guinea pigs by the military, this was just reported recently at Truthout.

The Scientific and Medical "Ethics" of the military or perhaps the government in general doesn't inspire confidence in me.

I see echoes of these older policies, in our rather careless treatment of fracking chemicals in injection wells and the improper subsurface application of corexit in the Gulf--going against KNOWN scientific results.

We are all guinea pigs now.
