  •  Reduce the Military Budget and spend some on us: (3+ / 0-)

Imagine having Medicare for all, something that most developed nations provide their citizens, but we don't because we have the 'greatest' military on earth.

Imagine having free tuition for anyone who wants to go to college as Germany provides its citizens.  And of course all of those ponderous student loans could be wiped off the books.

Imagine gearing up a program to solve or alleviate the Global Warming problem.  We need some type of program on the scale of World War II not only to reduce CO2 and methane emissions but a pro-active reduction of these gases in the atmosphere. This is just not going to happen unless we can reduce that military budget.

These are my priorities for a sane world after freeing up a huge portion of that money used for war.

The Military Industrial Complex that President Eisenhower warned us of in his last speech as president has been entrenched for years.  But we have the 'Obama Re-election Network'  to start the education of America.  We really do not have much time to stop the coming 'Heat from Hell' that is fast approaching our childrens' lives.

    Elizabeth Warren 2016!

the trade-offs we make for maintaining our Might, triple-fold beyond what we need,

are truly a stark and austere sacrifice.

thanks for painting that price tag though,  windwardguy46

just think of the possibilities, that we routinely fore go.

      for the myth of superiority.

Isn't it time to fix the Filibuster?
