    The best chance to seats in districts that have been redistricted to favor one party over the other are in an off-year election when turnout is low.  Using the same strategies and methods that were developed by OFA to GOTV it should be possible to win back these seats and once in control fix the gerrymandering in preparation for 2016 (the GOP did this in both Texas and Georgia in 2008, so the precedent has been set for changing redistricting between censuses).   We have to beat them at their own game and 2014 should provides the Dems the opportunity they need.  Otherwise we may be stuck with this mess until 2020.

      parties really invest in taking back some of these state houses and knocking off some of these extremist governors in 2014. Snyder is playing with real fire with the right to work for less legislation. Previously he was seen as a moderate, even by a lot of dems. Not any more.
