The problem is NOT "Government", the problem is the totally stilted division of profits between labor and capital.
    Government is certainly the problem.

The problem in that our government is owned lock, stock & barrel by the very assholes your diary addresses.

The American government is little more than a rich man's toy, used to exact more pelf from the 99%.

The Big Oil conglomerates owns our government, not "we the people."

That's why our government awards massive subsidies to poison-spewing petro concerns.

That's why climate change is ignored by our government; meanwhile,  this Keystone XL pipeline crap was provided a green-light by our so-called eco-friendly president.  Why?  Because it would be political suicide for him if he refused.

Add to that Wall Street, who sees over government  treasury as nothing but house money laying around in Bugsy Siegel's Flamingo casino.

I agree the 1% are a bunch of heartless bastards whose 30 years of exploitation have decimated our country.

But don't pretend, during those 30 years,  our government has stood an innocent victim.

Our government has been in on the scam from Day 1.

And it's still in on the scam, where you actually have Democrats pitching bullshit ideas about how they can best assist Republicans in how to dip their vulture beaks into our Social Security & Medicare.
