    It is believed that USB keyboards are not affected by this attack as they use differential signaling for cancelling the noise, though USB microcontrollers within the keyboard are much more noisy than PS/2 ones and there is a chance that some fortuitous emanations might be present.
    Basically means that tactic doesn't work against the majority of modern keyboards and laptops.

    Is this just math that you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better?

      controllers (or even the CPU/RAM in the computer) aren't the next target?  Besides, good old laser microphones work just fine even though glass and even with laptops (especially with laptops).
