    ... to propose, we Democrats should have no fear of them if/when we are the minority party (which, largely because of the historically unprecedented misuse of the filibuster by Republicans) we seem to be anyway.

    Having to actually you know, stand and filibuster - while not an accepted tactic in running meetings other than in the US Senate - won't be a bad thing. And restricting its use to more important things than Senate procedural rules won't be, either.

    What can we do to bring noveau obstructors like Senators Levin, Pryor and maybe Schumer around?

    "Fundamental change" in this regard is exactly what the fusty rule-bound Senate needs.

    2014 IS COMING. Build up the Senate. Win back the House : 17 seats. Plus!
