We are fighting the same battles ... 100 years later for decent wages ... clean air and water ...  care for our aged ...  And now? We are losing. Michigan is the first in the Rust Belt ... it won't be the last. Sadly. I expect a national "Right to Work" amendment proposed soon.

It's infuriating and yet ... nothing can be done. Our power continues to be stripped away.

Never say yada yada, when ooba tooba will do.

Not calling you stupid...just riffing on the phrase.

This is yet one more sickening example of how the Right has managed to preempt and frame an important discussion by chosing the vocabulary which all parties must use.

"Right to Work" sounds so reasonable, so fair, so obvious at face value.  For a political party that routinely puts up candidates who are rhetorically, verbally and logically challenged, they sure kick our asses when it comes to framing a debate by imprinting the public's mind with the labels of their choice.

Right to work is right to compete with the lowest paid labor pool that can be found.  The right to be exploited.  The right to live in America, while living like the Chinese proletariat.

      Oregon:'s cold. But it's a damp cold.
