    •  Deluded to the max (5+ / 0-)

I will not watch another bs foreign merc video, I am done.

But why no comment about yesterday's massacre of Alawites?

      http://www.bbc.co.uk/...

      It's not like it's a first either.

      My what dollars can buy....

      •  Shouldnt be necessary, but I should add (3+ / 0-)

that it's completely ILLOGICAL, as the BBC reports,  that "Assad's thugs" would be behind the rounding up and killing of Alawite gov sympathizers, in rebel-gained territory...

and again that wouldn't be a first either. Blame the opposite side because the dumb Americans won't know the difference anyway.

Add "Scud" and it's BOMBS AWAY for fools like you.

I hope that you'd have the grace to one day admit that you've been very, very wrong about all of this, but tbh I feel a real "true believer" vibe coming from these propaganda cut-n-pastes diaries.

      •  Err...wait... (5+ / 0-)
Speaking at a makeshift rebel field hospital, he said that 300 Alawite civilians were killed when government forces destroyed a building where pro-government Shabiha militiamen were holding them hostage.
So both sides in that were pro-government?
Activists said the militia-controlled building was being besieged by the rebel Free Syrian Army (FSA).
So the rebels destroyed a building where the pro-government militia held captives?
The militiamen had used women and children as human shields and the house had been shelled by government forces, the rebel said.
Wait...So now the government is attacking again?
        •  Exactly! (5+ / 0-)

the propaganda is aimed at people who have no clue about what is what or who is who.

          We've seen this before....

They've now added the "Scud" angle as a pavlovian tie-in. Who cares that more beardy weirdies will die? They must've been BAD! Right?

Shame on Obama for "recognizing" part of the conspiracy while denouncing the particular "unpalatable" faction that they encouraged just as vehemently. Same old story. They came to portion up the fortune.

Key phrase "the rebel said"... in a conflict where the "rebel" is undefined it can be whomever facilitates or provides scapegoat for intervention.

pretty much sums it up for all of these videos:

fsa executions, documenting their crime while presenting it as an "airstrike". These have been shot, not dead from explosions. You dont even need a brain 2 figure this out, just turn off the sound and LOOK at the evidence presented to you.
    •  Yes indeed, it's unfortunate (0+ / 0-)

that the Syrian government (the legitimate one) should be using Scuds.

They should have missiles with much better aim.  Shame on Russia for not providing them.

      •  Syria has 26 Iskander supersonic missiles (0+ / 0-)

These missiles pose a considerable threat to any NATO air intervention. They can overcome the Patriot system.

        http://www.military-today.com/...
The Iskander (NATO designation SS-26 Stone) short-range ballistic missile is a successor to the Oka (SS-23 Spider), which was eliminated under the INF Treaty. It was first launched in 1996 and was initially designated by NATO as the SS-X-26. It is considered the most advanced missile of it's kind.
        ...
The Iskander was designed to overcome air defense systems. Missile files at supersonic speed, excessively maneuvers in the terminal phase of the flight and releases decoys. In some cases this ballistic missile can be used as an alternative to precision bombing.
        ...
        Iskander-E, export version, specially designed to meet MTCR restrictions. It a maximum range of 280 km. This missile is fitted with internal guidance system and has a CEP of 30 - 70 m. This missile system has been exported to Syria (26 units);
    •  There are atrocities on both sides (0+ / 0-)

It will take generations to undo the harm.
