    otherwise all you Transphobic commenters hijacking this post would have been HOS long ago.

    I'm trying to present a problem you would be hard pressed to find any Transgender person that has NOT experienced it.

    This isn't a legal case we are discussing but a LIFE!

      what YOU have experienced.  We're questioning what truly happened to the person in the article and not automatically "assuming" that what a grief-stricken parent says is true in the face of other evidence to the contrary.  If what the mother says is true, then yes, that is indeed horrific.  But until all the evidence is revealed, I don't see any reason to believe that ALL (or even most) EMTs are biased (which, correct me if I'm wrong, seems to be your belief), though I have no doubt that some are, just as some in any other group could be assumed to be.
