    I too am very interested in reading the next part of the story and where they end up. I give you major credit for pushing the research to Germany and Denmark. Thus far I've not taken the plunge on major research outside the U.S. I've had enough trouble with the people who were here.

    This story illustrates how public policy really can impact where people settle, which in turn impacts everything that comes after. There are so many factors that made everything happen the way it did, but it's clear the Danish inducements to colonize significantly impacted your ancestors' lives.
