    I read a lot of popular-science books about psychos. (Profiling, abnormal psych, that sort of thing.) I can't remember which book I read this in, but I'm going to paraphrase it anyway:

    There was a judge with a history of being lenient on sexual assault crimes-lenient to the point of dismissing cases. It got so bad that advocates would just cringe if he was assigned a case that they were attending.

    Nobody could figure out what was happening-until the judge was caught in the act of raping somebody.

    Ever since reading that little snippet, I can't help but think about these judges with their comments about 'she must have really wanted it' and I find myself wondering how many of these judges are rapists in their spare time?

    I'd take a bullet for Neil Gaiman.
