    said or implied that protocols are the only thing that matter. After I wrote my comment it came out that the lady worked for a private provider and not the school itself. My point was directed at all those people who were lashing out at the school admins and was really only that when one side of a story is given often there are circumstances that make the fault either not nearly as egregious or that it is directed at the wrong target.

    My discussion of protocols was only one of many possibilities and I gave it to show that it is not hard to imagine that there is more to the story.  As it turns out there was more than was apparent at the time of my comment, the school itself was not the ones that did the firing.

    My comments were intended as a caution against assigning blame with insufficient information, especially with any reportage that has the Fox logo appended. They might have saved the school a lot of grief by clearly stating that the problem had to do with private providers and not the school. I don't know if it is just a coincidence that a Fox affiliate failed to reveal facts that would put privatization in a bad light but perhaps not.
