Don't think for one second that overturning the 2nd Amendment and banning legal gun ownership will stop crimes like this.

How's the war on drugs going?  All drug supply lines fully shut down, all is well?

Then today shouldn't be the day to discuss overturning the 2nd Amendment either.  But that's not stopping people here is it?

Okay, I'll back off.  I just can't take people who think violating the Constitution is going to solve anything.

The constitution is not sacrosanct and without error.  It's been changed many times, often with good reason

          •  Like with Bush and the Patriot Act? (0+ / 0-)

Do you think using the deaths on 9-11 to pass the Patriot Act in violation of our 4th Amendment rights kept us safe?  Was the freedom from unwarranted searches and seisures also an "error" in the Constitution?  Were the extra legal renditions and tortures worth it?  Didn't they also have good reason?

Sorry, but I think using the tragic murder of 20 children to overturn the 2nd is just as disgusting as using the tragic murder of 3000 to overturn the 4th.

But first, maybe you'd like to define just how many of our rights are errors.
