In the hazardous chemical industry there is an environmental law that is called something like "cradle to grave"...

It ties the company who produced it to have some responsibility for it even after they have paid hazardous waste services haul it away.  if it is spilled on the way to the burial or reclaimation site the producer (seller) still has some responsibility...  know what Im sayin...

If the gun industry has to spend some time in court spending money to keep from paying fines or being shut down they will be more vigilant and the prices will go up on the guns...  it is a start...

    •  At which point the firearms industry will have to (0+ / 0-)

invent a gun that locks automatically when the barrel is pointed at a human. Maybe some day.

you don't believe in evolution, you understand it. you believe in the FSM.

till then lets hit the gun industry in the pocket...  I saw one being interviewed a few days ago on the mall shooting.  He showed no compassion and almost said that he felt that if everyone in the mall had been armed things would have been different.  I agree they would have...

the gun lobby is callous and unreasonable...  hit em in the pockets...
