I'm on the side of freedom, knowing that I can't control everything.

But if the gun control side is going to have its way and begin disarming everyone they think shouldn't be trusted with a gun, then by which criteria do you think they will start with?

"But if the gun control side is going to have its way and begin disarming everyone they think shouldn't be trusted with a gun... "? This killer's weapons were purchased by his mother, who was killed with them. We will never know why she bought them. But the point is that even underage and unstable-in-hindsight people can access these weapons.

It is not a question of "disarming" at this point ...it is a questions of tightening the regulation on the types of weapons  obtainable, the sorts of magazines that you may buy, the sorts of bullets that can go into those magazines and guns. The "pro-murder side" (how do you like the sound of that hyperbole?) constantly reduces a careful argument to their fear of the most extreme proposal. Can you really not see the difference in the positions of the two opposite "sides'? Are you so used to responding in a standard patter that you can't respond any other way?

There is only one side that matters here: the side that wants to stop mass shootings. I have to assume that you are on that side. Not all of these people have been categorized"mentally unstable," as much as you may say "Only a crazy person would do something like this!" If they haven't been identified or treated beforehand, than "better mental health treatment" won't stop them.

They say "cut back" - we say "fight back"!
