    You're more likely to die from an automobile than a firearm, so there is that. Haven't seen arguments for banning automobiles due to deaths.

    This was just to highlight that someone that's checked out from reality doesn't need a firearm to do harm. Banning them from everyone doesn't solve your original problem -- someone wanting to kill people.

      with an automobile, and we accept the risks of the using automobiles because of the convince and needed services they provide.

      We already have higher levels of control for automobiles than we do of guns.

      I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent.
