to question people who DO choose to cry today?  You know, it is a day of national tragedy.  We all see our children and our families among those going through hell today.  If you want to go activist defcon -- go for it.  But for most people, they are in shock and horror and they need a president to be their comforter in chief today.  Given his actual words, I am willing to bet he is not going to be offering only platitudes in the future.  He intimated action regardless of the politics.  That was good to hear; so was the sound of his voice breaking; and so were his words of care for all the people who are suffering today.

I vote Democratic because I am a woman with self-respect , who rejects bigotry of all kinds, subscribes to science, believes in universal health care, embraces unions, and endorses smart internationalist foreign policy. Twitter: @HawaiiDelilah
