    Just as we outlawed slavery, we should outlaw guns except for licensed hunters and authorized law enforcement.  I know this sounds draconian, but I fail to see how we are a better society because of this Amendment.

      I say chip away at it where we can, just as gradually the population came around to supporting gay causes.

      They did this surprisingly quickly, by the way. Surprisingly quickly.

        It will move the overton window in a big way and make common sense gun regulations seem reasonable to pretty much everyone.

          or three generations. Too many in the country will defend
          their guns and their "freedom" and the "American Way."

          And we're all on different wavelengths. I think climate change is THE immediate issue. (You may, too.)
