  •  Why are guns so important to your life? (0+ / 0-)

Why the need to have them, why the need to shoot them?

Why the fixation despite all the tragedy around them?

Be of good comfort, Master Ridley, and play the man; we shall this day light such a candle by God's grace in England as shall never be put out.

are important or a fixation?  You did.  What fixations do you have that others would find off-putting?

I have Le Creuset cookware -- lots of it -- about which I am more fixated.  Are you afraid of my Boeuf Bouguignon?

Why do you have the need for your stuff?  Your questions seem like something from the FBI, NSA, CIA or something.  Are all gun owners supposed to answer to supposed liberals/progressives as to why they have and use pistols or rifles?  Is this a mirror Republican thing?

I'm really struggling to understand your perspective. I am so incredibly angry. I know you're grieving and being thoughtful and talking about important issues. And I see that many of the people in this diary agree with you, and this comment probably won't be welcome here.

But I just don't understand. I'm not trying to be flip - I mean this sincerely: how many kindergarteners have been killed by Le Creuset cookware? How can you honestly compare the two?

and knock it off. I've been buffeted by the fighting all day, allow all of us to feel as we feel and give us the space to grieve.
