    No offense, but I did my 20 years in Montrose and eventually got my parole. I'm going to stay up here in New England, thank you very much, where "my kind" are welcome and even celebrated.

    I am gay, and I'm getting married in the Episcopal Church, just like my great-grandmother did.

      think that the gay-marriage ban is embarrassing and a worthy target of public mockery, we win (the battle for American hearts and minds; the law must follow as a matter of course).

      I never thought that the public would evolve so much in such a short time on this issue. Put it on the short but happy list of Occasions Upon Which The Human Race Exceeded My Expectations Entirely.
