    and Bobby's truly amazing extemporaneous remarks will always live with me.

    I had the thrill of shaking his hand as a teenager when he was running for the Senate, and I volunteered as a high school student in his Presidential campaign.

    I think it was Jack Newfield--a reporter for the Village Voice but also a Kennedy supporter---who wrote in his memoir of the campaign that whenever Kennedy was coming to the end of his campaign stump speech he would quote Aeschylus, which meant to the reporters "run for the bus"---meaning the campaign's press bus---and that if they didn't they wouldn't be with Bobby for the next campaign stop.
