    the map correctly, the USA is in the 2 to 5 homicides by firearms per 100,000 people range

    that's 20 to 50 per million

    or 2000 to 5000 per 100 million

    or 6000 to 15000 per 300 million.

    Total gun deaths are at least 2 to 5x higher (depending on whether the upper or lower range of that figure is used - in reality IIRC the actual number is about 8000 - with at least 3x as many gun deaths by accident or suicide).

      Because I found some data that confirms what you are saying about the rate of accidents and suicides and the total should be much higher so I'll presume the above data is homicides, which is bad enough but really short of the actual impacts.

      Thanks for pointing this out, I will edit to note this.
