  •  boycott? (8+ / 0-)

Why not organize a boycott like we did in response to the Rush Limbaugh comments about Ms. Fluke? It would seem to me that the only language the conservatives understand is the language of money. The boycott against Rush Limbaugh's advertisers had traction. Is there any sort of effort going on currently to boycott stores that currently sell assault weapons and high volume ammunition clips? There are probably other kinds of boycotts that would work too related to internet sales and gun shows.

like the petition to get the Wyndham hotels to stop being an NRA affiliate, or the news about Cerberus selling off its gun company after pressure from the California teachers' pension.

There's room to put pressure on big boxes that stock guns & ammo, or on venues that host gun shows. I'm not sure the same will work on smaller gun stores and their more dedicated clientele.
