    to be excluded from moral commentary? Why should this only include "true philosophers" (whatever that means)?

    And is there any sort of new approach to gun regulation that you would not see as totalitarian, or cause you to invoke a logically fallacious slippery slope argument?

      is one of the great moral and economic scholars of our time.  I don't see how anyone can do economics without making moral judgments at some level.  The idea that the two can be separated is a bizarre fiction of the rapacious capitalists who attempt to conceal their own rapacity under a bogus myth of "objectivity."  Every market is highly contingent on a wide range of moral and cultural judgments.
