  •  I called the NRA twice (5+ / 0-)

on Friday. Had to make the second call because the first lady slammed the phone down on me.

I'm proud to say that I used up 15 minutes of their 800 number. They gave me the platitudes about "too bad, so sad" for the victims. I said I would believe that when they pushed policies that protected the public, like no assault rifles or guns in parks, school, etc., etc.

They really couldn't respond to that. Keep calling. Then call back. It's free, it won't take long, you'll cost them money. If everyone on this thread called the NRA once a day each day next week, it would keep them hopping. Get a friend or two to do the same and it would be even better. I highly recommend doing just that.

    •  Thank god somebody else is doing this (4+ / 0-)

besides me.  I did the same.  We need to keep this up because now the NRA will be besieging Feinstein with outraged calls about the threat to their beloved toys. Their desire to purchase high powered killing machines will quickly wash away the horror of the  battered little bodies.  Their rage will help them forget rather quickly.
