  •  Here are some of the lyrics (16+ / 0-)

to the song "Hope" I mentioned last night.

The song was written by Carole King and A.E. Hotchner
    Chorus:
    The word id hope.
Light as air, you don't care.
You can cope if you have hope.
    You may be down.
Things are bleak; you can't speak
Don't you frown, you'll come around
    Cause there is hope.

    Other lyrics in the song:
Only a dope would not have hope

Hope is a ray of sun
    Hope doesn't mind that weather.
    Hope means you've just begun.

A word that's small binds us all.
You can be all you want to be
With hope, with hope, with hope.

There are more, but my hearing doesn't allow me to pick them all up.  In fact I was sure I had this line wrong, "Light as air, you don't care."  But after listening to it about 10 times, I realized it is indeed correct.

I must end each day with a dose of Top Comments. A TC diary is a must for developing the calmness I need to get the required eight hours of sleep. - cohenzee
