Suppose LaPierre could pull up the records and find out, doubtful they'd ever own up.

was just reading about the shooter's mother being a survivalist, and wondered if she carried an NRA card.

reports coming in yet much. Too many contradictions already and unanswered questions. She was an "avid collector" and teacher in the school, then not a teacher. Anonymous singular sources for much info. Does look to lean that way, but so many contradictions/corrections. It's soon to call.  And we'll never get an honest answer out of Wayne.

most likely yes.  Because it's REQUIRED.  That's why we didn't join the gun club here and just pay the usage fees.

having to join the NRA to use a range? For insurance purposes? Are alternatives like usage fees, as you say, standard too? Can you join local gun clubs without any NRA connection? I wonder about to what degree they have monopolies in place that leave somebody who just wants to shoot at a range no other choice, or significant savings, by joining. Could it be a loss leader to rack up their membership numbers when they are mostly financially supported by manufacturers?
