  •  We have a somewhat funny Xmas tradition. (3+ / 0-)

When my three boys were very small, I found that I couldn't "do Santa" any more than I could "do god".  It felt like the same kind of lie.  So instead I started a tradition around marking the packages.  A sweatshirt might be labeled "from cozy Santa", an iPad "from rocky Santa".  Then a game of guessing the contents would ensue.  They are all about 30 now and to a man looked crestfallen at the idea of ending the tradition.  So this year we will have "slippery Santa" (good sheets) and "dangly Santa" (Xmas ornament).  And this year I'll have two grandchildren to play with!

Cats are better than therapy, and I'm a therapist.
