  •  That diarist is banned. (9+ / 0-)

Now why don't you knock off your shit and trying to set us against each other?

    •  You recc'd it, and everyone can see that. (15+ / 0-)

      You all recc'd it.

It's not about the diarist, it's about your addiction to guns and your bullshit excuses for stock piling those weapons.

To be honest, I am not sure you are stockpiling them, but KV admits to keeping three AR 15s in his safe and several other assault weapons.

The truth of the matter is that you attempt to derail and distract any argument of legitimate gun control measures. It's what you do, and most of the people on this site are too intimidated to confront you all on it.

That's the point I am making.

    •  That diary is recced by you. Apology accepted. (5+ / 0-)

The "group of people on this very blog that support these things" include you, personally.

But I accept that you're on the road to Damascus, and you regret both your recs and the tone you took at 11:04 CST today.

        •  Your regret for reccing banned diarist and diary (5+ / 0-)

is plenty enough.  I accept your profound feelings of regret for both your divisive tone and reccing a diary that noodles over armed revolution.

I entirely agree we should stop being divided. Thanks for you taking this first step.

Obama wins in 2008, and Rove, Cheney et al vacate the election.  Refuse to leave.  Commander of the Armed Forces declares Martial Law, claims the election was hijacked by radical muslims and communists calling themselves Kossacks.

I'd posit "General Strike" ala France, but when you're told back-to-work at bayonet point?  Then what?
When the Rovites come to your home after searching your subscriptions, bank records of campaign contributions, or using the NSA to determine where that IP address is? The one which you use to access the Great Orange Satan?

Then what?  Elect more Democrats?  When? Year 2110?

THAT was the premise behind Elmar's diary.
Guns aren't a tool used only by Teabaggers seeking revolution.
If you and ranger995 take issue with that?
Believing we, like the people of India, can wait a hundred years to overthrow the Rovite Dynasty?
            More power to you.

I'm not that patient... and I don't own any AR-15 type rifles nor  AK-47s.  I can't stand their ergonomics, nor their craftsmanship.

              It is for the revolution.

But in reality, the tyranny that the gun rights people foresee isn't Bush or anyone else refusing to leave. The tyranny that is sufficient to exercise the right of revolution is.....taking away guns.

At any rate I have to think how many children I would allow to be literally dismembered to address your scenario.   Zero.

when teabaggers describe such absurd paranoid fantasies, we laugh hysterically at them, and rightfully so.  I can't think of any reason why this paranoid fantasy on "our" side deserves any less derisive laughter.

I'm supposed to keep children at risk indefinitely into the future for something that DID NOT happen.
