or so, Yahoo started listing commentary that included BS-based articles in their News section. If I click on the link to a real news article on my Yahoo home page, where the headlines are actual news that appears on real news websites, on TV, and in newspapers, so you know it's really news, when I'm reading that article a column is on the right-hand side titled "News for You." It used to contain only other actual news articles. Then a year or so ago, I started seeing some crazy-looking "headlines" there and thought, "Huh?" I clicked on them to find all kinds of mostly right-wing rants and CT presented as fact. How many people click on this "News for You" thinking these are actual news reports and take what they say at face value?

to "I lost 3,000 pounds in a week and so can you!" sites, at least if it's the one I'm thinking of; frequently, at least two of the sites are Newsmax and WND.  I refuse to re-visit sites that use that widget.
