I am still figuring how I can get rid of my landline.  I don't understand all these people with their cells now.  Watched a couple at Walmart (hey I went to buy a steak for New Years) one in one aisle the other one aisle over shouting at each other on cells about the prices and products.  (which is one of my pet peeves, along with the local store letting teenagers use the riding carts in store so none are ever available for the elderly and disabled)

Entirely wireless now---cell phone and Verizon mobile Hotspot for internet. Works GREAT---I'm really glad I switched from hghesnet. bet the system hasn't been down a total of 10 minutes this year. (Hughesnet: almost every day in winter)

Our landline wad old and  only supports 28 bps so its NG for dialup. Cost to replace would be like $8000. we used it originally but not in 5 years.

      Happy just to be alive
