    •  I am a member of the RKBA group (11+ / 0-)

But I am far from supporting anything like you suggest.  I have my reasons why I do support the RKBA.

I have a couple and I keep one in the trunk of my car.  Once this pistol in the trunk may have saved my life (a flat tire late at night in Los Angeles when 2 cars full of gang types were kept at bay) and another time it helped me to  save a girl from being kidnapped (also in Los Angeles).  I also tried barehanded (last year) to prevent 5 guys on a "proto" mafia from beating a woman and I ended up unconscious for 3 days in the emergency care room of a hospital and barely escaped death (Los Angeles can be a rough town).

So I will support the RKBA for self defense.  No assault weapons, no more than what you need for self defense, thorough background checks, etc.

Daily Kos an oasis of truth. Truth that leads to action.

you belong is that any new gun laws will cost Democrats elections.

You don't have to support that in order to advocate for what you see as the meaning of the 2nd.

are always correct, and would never gun-down or harm a US citizen with little to no justification?

And should these so-called "random acts" become institutionalized, you're fine with the subversion of the Constitution you took an oath to uphold?

      I'm fucking astounded.
