      As so many venture into this discussion about "let's deal with the mental illness" component, they often do so without any understanding of the limits in the laws dealing with mental illness. Those few who have tried to commit someone to treatment against their will, or require someone to follow a treatment plan, will have a whole different take on the notion that the answer to these incidents in better mental health care. What if the care were readily available and affordable. How far can you go to "make" a mentally ill person take advantage of it?
