    either way what you think about it, imho.  He has had a mission from the start.  He practically moved mountains to get the Simpson-Bowles commission where a lot of these proposals were documented (in the chairmen's report, not the commission which produced no report).  He had tried once before that with Conrad and Gregg.   When he couldn't get the Senate to do it, he unilaterally created it by executive order.  

    And ever since then he has steadily been moving toward those goals.  

    Your opinion of anything doesn't matter, only your vote when it's needed. After you cough up your vote and maybe some money and volunteer time, you're chopped liver.   Irrelevant. And the Ds are confident that you will do this again and again as long as the two parties can guarantee that there is no other alternative.

      There are alternatives but their voices are marginalized and ridiculed by the establishment media and political elite. Efforts to change this will see continued opposition.

      The dems are simply a more moderate wing of the corporate funded Washington establishment and plutocratic oligarchy.
