For Santa's reindeer to have antlers, his sleigh has to be pulled by female reindeer.  Male reindeer lose their antlers in December and females retain their antlers in the winter [to help protect their babies who are born in spring].

And everyone knows the rabbit symbol connects to fecundity, so males couldn't lay eggs.  That's a female thing....

Someone in my family calls all animals "he" even though certain females are clearly "she" since they have suckling babies.  She also writes 'a lot' as one word when it's clearly not.  I always correct her.  Drives me nutz when she doesn't realize how offensive it even is to hear a female referred to as a "he."  She betrays her own feelings of inadequacy and her own prejudices in a world where males dominate and are "more important" than females in her little mind..., which is kind of ironic since their daughter is the one who made such a success with her life and married well (following in her mother's footsteps and marrying up), and the two sons..., not so much.

I'm sick of attempts to steer this nation from principles evolved in The Age of Reason to hallucinations derived from illiterate herdsmen. ~ Crashing Vor
